Not going to lie – I am not a bird fan. I know the names of few birds, and that’s it in this field. But if talking of The Birdwatching collection by Elizabeth Beer and Brian Janusiak of Various Projects (Ace Hotel store, Project No.8), I am in. Starting with the endearing New York pigeon, soon the collection was followed by an ever expanding flock of American state and regional birds, each hand knit from 100% Alpaca through an artisan supported network in Bolivia. Italian sparrows, robins, Californian quails, Carolina wrens (my favourite!) and many more of these are sold at Project No.8 in New York.
